The second-stage reduction drives the eccentric shaft through the spur gear, and drives the RV gear mounted on the eccentric shaft, causing the eccentric movement of the two RV gears. The two RV gears drive the output shaft with a phase difference of 180° to provide a balanced load.

 

RV-C is a two-stage reduction gear. The first reduction is the external meshing of the input gear and the first central gear, and then the external meshing of the second central gear and the spur gear. The three spur gears are symmetrical to the output shaft at intervals of 120°.

 

The second-stage reduction drives the eccentric shaft through the spur gear, and drives the RV gear mounted on the eccentric shaft, causing the eccentric movement of the two RV gears. The two RV gears drive the output shaft with a phase difference of 180° to provide a balanced load.

 

RV deceleration principle

 

Cylindrical needle rollers are installed in the inner ring of the housing. The eccentric movement of the RV gear causes the needle to mesh and disengage from the cycloidal RV gear teeth, resulting in multiple sets of RV gear teeth meshing with the needle at the same time to improve the load capacity. Since the number of RV gears is one less than that of needle rollers, when the eccentric shaft rotates once, if the case is fixed, the RV gear and the input shaft will rotate by an angle of one tooth in the same direction.

 

The output end can be a shaft or a case. If the housing is fixed, the drive shaft is output, and the output is in the same direction. If the drive shaft is fixed and the housing is the output, the output direction is exactly the opposite. By replacing the fixed and output parts, different transmission ratios can be obtained.
