Industrial welding robots application

 

Welding robots have been widely used in the automotive industry, such as automobile chassis, seat frame, guide rails, muffler and torque converter, especially in the production of automotive chassis welding. This technique can improve the quality of the weld and thus even attempt to replace some arc welding operations. The exercise time in a short distance is also greatly shortened. Domestically produced rear axles, sub - frames, rocker arms, suspensions, shock absorbers and other car chassis parts are mostly force-safe parts based on MIG welding technology. The main components are stamped and welded, and the average thickness is 1.5~4mm. The welding is mainly in the form of lap joints and angle joints. 2 Weld appearance quality inspection


2.1 All welds of the frame structure should undergo appearance quality inspection. The weld surface should be uniform and dense. The weld bead and the weld bead, and the weld bead and the base metal should be smoothly transitioned, and there should be no sudden changes in cross section. 


2.2 The appearance quality inspection should be carried out on the premise that the welding slag, spatter and dirt on the surface of the weld and both sides are removed. The welding seam shall not be painted before the appearance inspection is qualified.


Front fork, guard bar, simple handlebar, armrest bracket, backrest bracket, basket bracket, bracket (car ladder), the exposed position of the frame is subject to the frame drawing, and the fish scale welding pattern marked on the frame drawing is exposed position. 


2.3 The appearance quality of welds mainly depends on visual inspection and the use of weld angle inspection rulers, which can be inspected with a magnifying glass when necessary. 


2.4 The internal quality of the weld can be inspected only after passing the visual inspection of the appearance
