The machine coordinates with the robot. At this time, the movement of the positioner and the motion of the robot are combined, so that the movement of the welding gun relative to the workpiece can satisfy the requirements of the weld trajectory and the welding speed and the posture of the welding gun. In fact, the axis of the positioner has now become a part of the robot. This welding robot system can be as many as 7-20 axes, or more.
