Arc welding robot common faults and solutions

 

During welding of welding robots, defects such as welding offset, undercut, and venting may occur.
1. The occurrence of welding offset may be caused by incorrect position of the welding or when the welding gun is looking for. In this case, consider whether the position of the center point of the welding torch is accurate and adjust it. If this problem occurs frequently, check the zero position of each axis of the robot and recalibrate it to correct it.
2. The occurrence of undercut may be the result of improper selection of welding parameters, welding gun angle or misalignment of the welding torch. Appropriate adjustment of the power to change the welding parameters or adjust the position of the welding torch can solve the problem.
3. The air hole is caused by poor gas protection, too thick primer of the workpiece or insufficient drying of the shielding gas. It also needs to be adjusted accordingly.
