Laser welding robot configuration

 

According to different application requirements, the robot laser welding system can be equipped with a workpiece positioner. A typical workpiece positioner consists of a rotary - flip axis that forms the seventh and eighth outer axes of the robot, enabling complete linkage with the robot, making it easy to weld complex workpieces and increasing the weld area accessibility. In order to further improve the welding efficiency, the robot system can also be configured with a double table structure, so that when the laser welding is performed on the internal workbench, the workpiece clamping can be performed on the external workbench. In the case of large - volume welding, this a dual workbench approach is particularly advantageous. For the case where the shape of the workpiece is complicated and the number is small, it is more suitable to use the workpiece positioner for machining.
